Career in Japan

J-Cath accounts for nearly 20% of the market for ablation and EP catheters in Japan.

In 2004, Japan Lifeline Co., Ltd. began to develop and manufacture ablation catheters and electrophysiological (EP) catheters as the first manufacturer in Japan. In 2005, we launched J-Cath, a new brand of catheters for the treatment of arrhythmia. This sought to enhance the system and reliability of our development and manufacturing process.
To date, we have released three ablation catheter series, including Ablaze, Ablaze Fantasista and Ablaze Plus, gaining nearly 50% of the market in 2006.We have also been increasing market share of our EP catheter, with staple products such as EPstar Series.
While we continue to develop and add new products for both ablation and EP catheter series, the sales of these products have increased significantly. Today, our products are used in many medical institutions all over Japan.

For example, the following major institutions use J-Cath products:

  • Tsuchiura Kyodo General Hospital
  • Tsukuba University Hospital
  • Yokosuka Kyosai Hospital
  • Yokohama Rosai Hospital
  • Gunma Prefectural Cardiovascular Center
  • Koseikai Takeda Hospital
